The petitioner prays for grant of bail in Sessions Trial no. 511/2021 arising out of Mufassil P.S. Case no. 379 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 363 and 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 13.8.2021. Report of the trial court reveals that charge has been framed but no prosecution witness has been examined till date.

Considering the gravity of offence, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, the petitioner is in jail since 22.1.2021, trial court is directed to expedite the trial. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) s.hassan/- U T
