The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No.488 of 2018 registered under Sections 420, 468, 470 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to professional rivalry. It is further submitted that the petitioner is an honest contractor and he inadvertently filed a passbook of term deposit in a Tender.

The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail by contending that the petitioner's company is alleged to have filed a passbook of term deposit as earnest money in a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22020 of 2021(4) dt.10-03-2022 2/2 Tender for construction of house of Executive Engineer, which was found forged after verification from the Post Office. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail. Having considered the facts aforesaid, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
