2. This modification petition has been filed for modification of order dated 24.8.2022, passed in Cr.Mis.No. 43940/2022.
3. At the outset, learned counsel for the State opposed the modification petition and submitted that this is the second modification petition filed by the petitioner after lapse of three years of passing of said order. Petitioner had been granted bail and he had been given four weeks time to furnish bail bonds vide order dated 8.4.2022, passed in Cr.Mis.No. 52426/2021. However, he did comply with the order and on his prayer time period was further extended for four weeks vide order dated 24.8.2022, but again he did not surrender and furnish bail bonds and chose to file the present modification petition.

Considering the fact that this second modification petition has been filed after delay of 3 years and petitioner has not satisfied the Court that he was prevented from sufficient cause in furnishing the bail bonds in stipulated time frame as well as in preferring this modification petition within time.
