This contempt application has been alleging noncompliance of the order passed by this Court in CWJC No.15606 of 2015, whereby the District Magistrate, West Champaran, was directed to consider the grievance of the petitioner regarding non-payment of his dues and dispose of the

Patna High Court MJC No.632 of 2016 (3) dt.18-05-2016 same within two months of the receipt/production of a copy of the order. Since the order was not complied, hence the contempt application has been filed.

Today a show cause has been filed enclosing an order passed on 12.5.2016 recording approval by the District Magistrate for payment of Rs.5,90,160/- to the petitioner and which amount has been recommended for sanction by the Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, Government of Bihar, Patna for allotment of funds.

That the petitioner has been found entitled to a sum of Rs.5,90,160/-, in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the quantification of this amount he can question the same in an appropriate proceeding before the appropriate forum, however, in so far as the payment of the sanctioned amount of Rs.5,90,160/- is concerned, the District Magistrate, West Champaran would be well advised to ensure its expeditious payment to the petitioner preferably within six weeks from today.
