Mr.Shantanu Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 29-02-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 324, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that accused petitioner along with co-accused persons has been assigned for abusing and causing hurt to the informant by leg and fat due to which he fell down thereafter accused Jai Prakash Singh assaulted him by knife several times due to which he became unconscious with regard to land dispute whereas Title Suit No. 291 of 2007 has been decreed in favour of his father. Informant got treatment at Sahyog Hospital.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9384 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 no specific allegation against the petitioner. He submits that similarly situated co-accused have been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 68442 of 2019 dated 06.11.2019.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Judge-XII-cum-ACJM, Patna in connection with Patliputra Police Station Case No. 237 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
