The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Simri P.S. Case No. 273 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

The allegation is regarding recovery of huge quantity of illicit English wine from a field belonging to the co-accused person, namely, Sunil Yadav.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got nothing to do either with the illicit liquor recovered by the Police or with the field from where the illicit liquor has been recovered. It is further submitted that the name of the petitioner has surfaced upon statement made by the co-

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Buxar in connection with Simri P.S. Case No. 273 of 2018.
