2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Complaint Case vide C.A. No. 1086 of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 504, 506, 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. As per the prosecution story, the petitioner and other accused persons are alleged to have tortured the complainant physically and mentally due to non-fulfillment of demand of Rs. 5,00,000/- as dowry and ultimately she was ousted from her matrimonial house.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that petitioner is innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is the husband of the complainant. One minor child is with the petitioner. Petitioner has never demanded any dowry nor tortured the complainant. He is ready to keep his wife with full honour and dignity. Petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 01.10.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State as well as learned counsel for the complainant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and considering the period under custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Katihar, in connection with Complaint Case vide C.A. No. 1086 of 2022.
