JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-05-2024 The present writ has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For grant of an appropriate writ for a direction to the respondents to hold and to treat the petitioner as 'J.P. Senani' under 'J.P. Samman Yojana' having undergone confinement for more than 6 months under Defence of India Rules between the period 18.03.1974 to 21.03 1977 and

Patna High Court CWJC No.3287 of 2024(2) dt.13-05-2024 2/2 to grant them pension under 'J.P. Samman Yojana' admissible to such 'J.P.Senani'.

(ii). For grant of an appropriate writ for a direction to the respondents to enhance the amount of pension to the petitioners under J.P. Samman Yojana' from Rs. 7500 per month to Rs. 15000 as per the enhanced pension under the said scheme. (iii). For grant of an appropriate writ for a direction to the respondents to pay to the petitioners the arrear of pension admissible to them under the said scheme by calculating his pension from the rate which is admissible to 'J.P. Senani' having undergone confinement for more than 6 months."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
