JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 16-11-2021 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No.308 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. 63 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a hut.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is two cases pending against this petitioner relating to Excise Case. Petitioner is in custody since 09.12.2020 and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

Considering the period of custody and the chargesheet has been submitted in this case, let the petitioner, above

No.21366 of 2021(2) dt.16-11-2021 2/2 named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge2nd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Samastipur in connection with Excise Case No.308 of 2019.
