Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his representation (Annexure- P-11) was received in office of the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur on 04.01.2019, wherein he has made a prayer for grant of promotion to the post of Upper Division Clerk in the pay band-1, grade pay- 2400. The limited prayer is for a direction to the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur (Respondent No. 5) to consider the petitioner's claim and to dispose it of by reasoned and speaking

Since the issue is yet to be considered by Respondent No. 5, this Court does not consider it appropriate to keep the writ petition pending as no adjudication is called for. Learned State counsel has appeared through virtual mode. He does not object to disposal of the writ petition for consideration by the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in accordance with law.
