2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Nayagaon P.S. Case No. 164 of 2023 for the offence registered under sections 392/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that on 20.08.2023, as he was returning home, the accused intercepted and snatched mobile and the cash amount. This followed the F.I.R.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession and only on the confession of Nitish Kumar, his name cropped up.

5. Learned APP on the other hand opposes the prayer submitting that the Police during investigation picked up Nitish

6. Taking into account the submissions of the parties as also the fact that his name has come in the confessional statement, no relief can be extended.

7. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
