JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-10-2018 The petitioners are seeking direction to the respondent-Magadh University to accept the registration fees and forms of Part-I, Part-II and Part-III students of the college and to allow them to appear in the ensuing University examination.

This is not in dispute that the college, in question, did not have affiliation for the session 2017-18 in the absence of approval of affiliation by the State Government under Section 21(2)(d) of the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976. Since the college did not have the status of an affiliated college, it could not have allowed admission of the students. In such
