The grievance of the petitioner is that although she has been selected as Anganwari Sevika, Gram Panchayat Raj, Salempur, Ward No.10, Tariyani Block in the district of Sheohar but no appointment letter has been issued.

The guidelines on the issue regulating service of Anganwari Sevika do confirm that any party aggrieved by any selection process has a remedy before the District Programme Officer concerned and the petitioner without exhausting the alternative remedy has rushed to this Court.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of permitting

Patna High Court CWJC No.2049 of 2016 (2) dt.06-11-2017 the petitioner to exhaust the alternative remedy so available to her under the guidelines and it goes without saying that any such grievance raised by the petitioner within a fortnight from today shall be considered and disposed of by the District Programme Officer in accordance with law and after hearing the contesting parties expeditiously and preferably within four weeks of its filing.
