The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No.61/16 registered under Section 47(A) of Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 216.
The accusation is that two persons were seen coming on the motor cycle by the police and on giving signal driver of the motor cycle succeeded in fleeing away but another person Sachin Kumar Yadav was caught by the police and on search 90 pieces each containing 180 ml. and 12 pieces each containing 750 ml. of Premium A.C.Gold Nepali wine recovered from his bag and he also disclosed the name of his associate as Rambabu Rai.

No.14959 of 2017 (2) dt.12-04-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been apprehended on the spot rather his name has surfaced on the basis of the confessional statement of coaccused Sachin Kumar Yadav. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 21.02.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Vishal Kumar, J.M., Sheohar, in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No.61/16.
