The petitioner seeks bail in Nagar P.S. Case No. 22/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 448, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and section 66 of the IT Act.
The informant alleged that the petitioner was working on the computer in the Revenue Collection Centre of Electricity Supply Sub-Division Madhubani. It is alleged that the petitioner posted wrong facts showing statement of bill vide forged customers and thereby caused loss of Rs. 1,30,000/- of the Company.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in name
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20533 of 2017 (2) dt.03-05-2017 of Salauddin Rs. 9000/- was shown similarly Rs. 48,000/- in the name of Chand Alam, Rs. 11,000/- in the name of Santosh Kumar and Rs. 62,000/- in the name of Dilip Chandra. From perusal of the bill at annexure 2 series, it would appear that the customers have deposited the amount in the month of December itself and there is no wrong posting in the account of the customers. The petitioner is in jail since 02.02.2017. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in connection with Nagar P.S.
