The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Majorganj P.S.Case No.270/16 registered under Section 30(A) of Bihar Excise(Amd) Act..

The accusation is of recovery of 54 litres Nepali liquor contained in 180 bottles each containing 300 ml. from a tempo in which the petitioner was found sitting while the driver succeeded in fleeing away.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a bonafide passenger of the tempo to which the police recovered 180 bottles of Nepali liquor each containing 300 ml.. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 5.10.2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12190 of 2017 (2) dt.17-03-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Sitamarhi, in connection with MajorganjP.S.Case No.270/16.
