The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 387 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R., an unknown miscreant demanded rangdari through mobile no. 8539974099 from the informant on his mobile and on refusal, informant was threatened to be killed. During course of investigation, co-accused Amritesh Kumar was apprehended, who disclosed the name of petitioner, as his associate, who provided the SIM in question for demanding the extortion money.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has been implicated in this case only on the basis of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11319 of 2022(2) dt.08-08-2022 2/2 confessional statement of co-accused. Neither the alleged SIM is registered in the name of this petitioner nor petitioner has provided said SIM to co-accused Amritesh Kumar. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. - 14th cum Sub Judge, Muzaffarpur in connection with Bochahan P.S. Case No. 238 of 2012, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
