JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-06-2020 Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been paid the amount against General provident Fund with interest. He has, however, submitted that the interest on G.P.F. has been calculated up to March, 2019 only, though the actual payment of G.P.F. amount has been made in August, 2019. He submits that the petitioner is entitled for interest on G.P.F. up to the actual date of payment. The petitioner shall be at liberty to raise his grievance before the competent authority by making representation in this regard. If it is found that for no laches on the part of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.3380 of 2019(3) dt.15-06-2020 2/2 petitioner, the payment has been made in August, 2019 and the interest has been calculated only up to March, 2019, the respondents shall be obliged to ensure that the interest for the said period is paid within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. This writ application stands disposed of with above observation and direction.
