The claim of the petitioners is that they have been appointed as Panchayat Teachers in Pakari Barawa Primary School, Dhamaul, District Nawada, in the year 2014, and working regularly, but unfortunately, they have not been paid salary since March 2017.
The issue involved in the instant case requires factual enquiry. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed
Patna High Court CWJC No.20114 of 2018(2) dt.18-07-2019 2/2 of with a direction to the District Programme Officer, Nawada, to verify the records as to legality and validity of appointment and also the fact that the petitioners have actually worked. If, on verification of records, it is found that the petitioners have worked, the petitioners should be paid salary for the period they have worked. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
