In this case, the petitioners have sought relief for initiation of contempt proceeding for flouting the order of this Court dated 14.7.2014 passed in CWJC No. 476 of 2013, wherein, in the last portion, the Court has passed the following order:- "This writ application is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the District Health Society, Buxar to take steps
Patna High Court MJC No.1507 of 2015 dt.17-04-2017 for sanction of the posts of dental doctors in the hospitals of the district at an early date and thereafter take steps for appointment of the same in accordance with law. Since the appointment on the dental doctors is apparently in public interest, respondents shall expedite the matter and take steps for filling up the sanctioned posts at the earliest." A show-cause has been filed, wherein, it has been mentioned that the Government has already sent requisition for appointment of Dentist to the B.P.S.C., in pursuance thereof, the B.P.S.C. has already notified the advertisement in the newspaper and the B.P.S.C. has found with respect to some of the candidates that they have not removed the defect and, by way of last chance, they have been called upon to furnish certain documents for removal of the defect in the application.
In view of the action taken by the B.P.S.C. in pursuance of requisition sent by the State, this Court is not inclined to initiate a contempt proceeding. If the petitioner, so advised, may take any action in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the contempt proceeding is dropped. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Rishi/- AFR/NAFR NAFR CAV DATE NA Uploading Date 19.04.2017 Transmission Date NA
