Taking into consideration that 65 pouches each containing 200 ML country made liquor and 5 bottles each containing 180 ML foreign liquor were recovered from the betel shop of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him the privilege of anticipatory bail and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with C. case no. 100/2013 pending in the court of the Sub divisional Judicial Magistrate (west), Muzaffarpur stands rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today and seeks regular bail, his regular bail application shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by this rejection order.
