2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 117(2), 126(2), 109(2), 76, 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per F.I.R., on the alleged date and time of occurrence, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including this petitioner and 12-15 other persons attacked informant and others in which informant got injured on the head and his nose got fractured. It is further alleged that when students started making video of the said occurrence, they were also assaulted. Furthermore, co-accused Ashok and Amit tried to press the neck of Karan Kumar and snatched his mobile phone.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11074 of 2025(2) dt.18-03-2025 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is lecturer at M.J.J.M. College, Banwariupr, Begusarai and at the relevant point of time, he was on official invigilation duty at M.R.J.D. College. Allegation of assault is general and omnibus and no specific allegation of overt act is alleged against him. Case and counter case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent and other facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Begusarai Town P. S. Case No. 580 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
