The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 183 of 2019, registered under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that of snatching of Rs. 13,40,085/- from the informant Shalil Kumar by four persons named in the F.I.R.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner and informant are co-villagers. It would appear from the F.I.R. that informant has disclosed the name of four persons indulged in snatching cash of Rs. 13,40,085/-, but he did not disclose the name of petitioner. In course of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9408 of 2020(2) dt.24-02-2020 2/2 investigation, the name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Sunny Kumar, who is also not named in the F.I.R. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2019 and on investigation, the Police has already submitted Chargesheet. Further submission is that while petitioner is accused in Mansi P.S. Case No. 153 of 2017, under Sections 323, 341, 386, 504, 506 and 325/34 of the Indian Penal Code, but he is on bail in that case.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, Khagaria in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 183 of 2019. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) manish/- U T
