====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL DUTTA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 11-07-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the Opposite Party No.2 and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bhagalpur Mahila P.S. Case No. 01 of 2020 instituted under Sections 323, 341, 498A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 D.P. Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons who are husband and inlaws of the informant assaulted and tortured her due to nonfulfillment of dowry demand.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15542 of 2024(10) dt.11-07-2025 2/2 case. He further submits that the allegation leveled against the petitioner is wrong, concocted and without any substance and the petitioner who is husband of informant never made any demand of dowry or tortured her. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to make the payment of Rs.5,000/- per month to the informant/opposite party no.2.
5. Learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 has no objection for the same.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Bhagalpur in connection with Bhagalpur Mahila P.S. Case No. 01 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
