The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dandkhora P.S. Case No. 48 of 2016, registered under Section 341, 323, 325 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of causing assault by the petitioner in drunken condition to the husband of the informant through fist, slaps and brick.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while the allegation has been made against the petitioner to cause injury to the husband of the informant, in drunken condition, but only three injuries were found on the person of the husband of the informant, which are simple in nature caused by hard and blunt substance. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent is in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18607 of 2017 (2) dt.05-05-2017 2/2 custody since 23.02.2017.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the SDJM, Katihar in connection with Dandkhora P.S. Case No. 48 of 2016.
