Patna High Court CWJC No.5308 of 2019 dt.08-04-2019 2/3 Chowkidars/Dafadars and have superannuated on different dates, the details having been stated in the writ petition.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that way-back in the year 1990, the Chowkidars and Dafadars were declared to be the government servants and hence are entitled to be paid the benefits of ACP and MACP. Despite the petitioners being entitled for payment of the aforesaid financial benefits, as argued by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the same has been denied to them till date and the representations which have been preferred by the petitioners before various authorities including the District Magistrate, Sheikhpura, have not yet been adverted to or responded.

3. Under the aforesaid circumstances, Mr. Devendra Prasad Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if they are permitted to make a fresh representation along with a copy of this order before the District Magistrate, Sheikhpura (respondent No. 4), detailing their grievances, within a period of four weeks from today and direction be given to

4. The prayer, on face of it, appears to be reasonable and hence, it is allowed.

5. On the petitioners making a representation before the District Magistrate, Sheikhpura (respondent No.

4) within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off by the concerned respondent within a further period of six weeks thereafter by a reasoned order.

6. The writ petition stands disposed off accordingly.
