The instant writ petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking quashing of first information report of Malsalami P.S. Case No.257 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 135 and 138 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
The allegations made against the petitioner do constitute a cognizable offence.
In that view of the matter, I find no merit in the writ
