The petitioner seeks bail in connection with P.R. No. 283 of 2020 (Special Case No. 255 of 2020), registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 5 polythene bags, each containing 5 liters of country made liquor, 66 bottles, each containing 375 ml and 96 bottles, each containing 180 ml Indian made foreign liquor from the tempo, which was being driven by the petitioner.

Submission is that the the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 07.01.2020. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

No. 283 of 2020 (Special Case No. 255 of 2020) to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Patna.
