Petitioner retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 28.2.2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has raised to folds issue, firstly; the respondents, instead of fixing pension on the basis of last pay scale of Rs. 6910 they have fixed the pension of the petitioner on the pay scale of Rs. 6900. Secondly, the grievance of the petitioner is non adjustment of vouchers of expenditure. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has deposited the vouchers for utilization of Rs. 4796100/- but

Patna High Court CWJC No.5510 of 2020(2) dt.26-06-2020 2/2 the same has not been taken into consideration and as a result of which, the pension of the petitioner has not been fixed. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur to examine the original record of vouchers submitted by the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner has submitted the vouchers for the advance received, the District Magistrate shall take steps for payment of entire dues to the petitioner. Necessary decision in this regard may be taken within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which the petitioner would be entitled to payment of interest @ 9% from the date of retirement of the petitioner till the date of actual payment.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
