Petitioners are in custody since 15.09.2016 in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 207 of 2016 registered under Sections 188, 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 47, 51, 54, 57 and 63 of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, these petitioners have been arrested merely on the basis of suspicion. No recovery has been made from the conscious possession of these petitioners. The petitioners are in custody for the last five months. Considering the nature of accusation, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.
