The petitioner seeks bail in Govindpur P.S. Case No. 127/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Excise Act.

The police got information that petitioner was selling illicit liquor in Arhar field and on raid 30 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from the field.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not selling the liquor. The police has illegally arrested the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 31.12.2016. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than two months for alleged recovery of 30 litres of illicit liquor. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner, is directed
