Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Town (Saran) P.S. Case No. 300/15 for offences alleged under Sections 420, 467, 468, 469, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case, as lodged by the informant, is that petitioner and other applied for registration of their vehicles in the District Transport Office, Chapra on the basis of forged sale letter and temporary registration certificate. It is further alleged that the co-accused Anil Kumar Singh got his three vehicles registered without verification of temporary registration, which were cancelled by the District Transport Officer, Patna after verification and communicated to the State Transport Commissioner, Bihar, Patna.

No.9928 of 2016 (2) dt.13-04-2016 2/2 It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence, in fact, it has been submitted that the petitioner has himself been duped by the said Anil Kumar Singh, against whom he has lodged Complaint Case No. 3046 of 2015, who has taken Rs. 2 lakhs on the pretext of purchase of three goods vehicle. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is a businessman.

However, learned APP for the State submits that the petitioner is named in the First Information Report and opposes the prayer for bail.

Be that as it may, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Town (Saran) P.S. Case No. 300/15, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
