Petitioner is an accused in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 175 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 399,402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the instant case on mere suspicion. It is further submitted that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the name of the petitioner has surfaced on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by the co-accused namely, Dipak Kumar. Petitioner is in custody since 21.09.2019.

Case No. 175 of 2019.
