The petitioners are languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 143/149/504/427/ 332/337/ 308/353 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act 1984. The petitioners were members of the mob which ransacked the office of the local Block Development Officer. The petitioners are in custody since 22.01.2020. The petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. They are ward members.

No.13701 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 Considering the entire facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No.540 of 2018, with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below. (b) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners. (c) The petitioners shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
