The petitioner, who is in custody since 26.10.2019 seeks bail in connection with Barauni (Chakiya) P.S. Case No. 29/2016 dated 23.01.2016 [ G.R. No. 273/2016] instituted for the offence under Sections 386 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. According to the prosecution version, an attempt was made by the petitioner and his associates to stop the construction work of boundary wall by Subhadra Construction. Though no ransom amount is said to have exchanged hands but the petitioner is accused in several

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10011 of 2020(3) dt.01-06-2020 2/2 cases about which, the reference has been made in paragraph -3 of the petition. The averments in the bail petition further reflects that in about six cases that the petitioner has earlier been made accused, he has been acquitted in four cases.

Considering the aforesaid facts and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate -1st Class, Begusarai in connection with Barauni (Chakiya) P.S. Case No. 29/2016.
