The petitioner is accused in connection with Pothia P.S. Case No. 175 of 2016, registered under Sections 498(A), 489(B) and 489(C) of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of recovery of 25 counterfeit currency notes of denomination of Rs.1,000/- from possession of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that petitioner was not apprehended by the police in transaction of counterfeit currency note. Further submission is that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 11.11.2016.

No.3455 of 2017 (2) dt.14-02-2017 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Kishanganj, in connection with Pothia P.S.
