Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned APP for the State The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 05.03.2021, passed in Cr. Appeal No. 620 of 2020, by which the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10603 of 2022(2) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 It is submitted that due to Covid-19 pandemic, the petitioners could not surrender in the court below and furnish the bail bond within the stipulated time.
For the reasons disclosed in the application, it is allowed and the time granted by order dated 05.03.2021, passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 620 of 2020, for surrender of the petitioners and furnishing bail bond is extended by four weeks from today, subject to deposit of Rs. 3,000/- to the District Legal Services Authority. At the time of surrender, the petitioners shall furnish the receipt showing deposit of Rs. 3,000/- to the District Legal Services Authority.
Office shall ensure that all the defects are removed by the petitioners within the stipulated time provided in para 1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
