The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kateya P.S. Case No. 10 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. The accusation is of recovery of 88 bottles, each containing 200 ML country made liquor, kept in a bag, from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, who is lady has no criminal antecedent and she is in custody since 16.01.2020.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9424 of 2020(2) dt.24-02-2020 2/2 Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Kateya P.S. Case No. 10 of 2020.
