2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 283 of 2025 for the offence registered under sections 103(1), 62(2), 3(5) of the BNS.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that her husband went to attend the nature's call near the dam but failed to return. Later, his dead body was found and she raised suspicion that the first wife of the deceased and this petitioner may be the reason behind the killing. Subsequently, the first wife, Champa Devi was apprehended and she confessed to the crime and narrated that earlier, she was married to the deceased but later, he married Babita Devi whereafter, she was staying with Manoj Paswan, the petitioner herein. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11845 of 2026(3) dt.06-05-2026 2/2 husband had lodged the case against the lady and Manoj Paswan and they wanted it to be withdrawn. As the deceased refused, they conspired and executed the plan.
4. Considering the allegation that has come in the case diary against this petitioner, it would be appropriate that he seek bail.
