The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 180/2020 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Petitioner is the owner of the scooty and he claims that the scooty was given to one Chandan Kumar who has used it for liquor smuggling. The petitioner has a clean antecedent. Considering the facts and circumstances, the present anticipatory bail application is allowed.

No.11453 of 2022(2) dt.01-04-2022 2/2 Accordingly, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise, Court No. 1, Sitamarhi, in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 180/2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
