The petitioner seeks bail in Forest Case No. 7 of 2017 under Sections 49(B) and other Sections of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972.
One baby barking deer was recovered from possession of the petitioner.
It is submitted that the maximum punishment is for three months. The baby deer was driven away in the water and due to danger of its life, the petitioner rescued it and under confusion he was arrested.
Considering the nature of allegation, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10002 of 2017 (2) dt.06-03-2017 2/2 of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in Forest Case No. 07 of 2017.
