The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.361 of 2016 registered under Sections 419, 420 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that the informant and his friend were boarded on a vehicle bearing Registration No.BR10P-3638 by two unknown on the pretext of the checking of the articles at the police station but at some distance, the informant and his brother were forced by them to get down from the vehicle but their belonging were taken by them. Later on, the informant

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17635 of 2017 (2) dt.05-05-2017 2/2 came to know that the petitioner was driving the aforesaid vehicle. As such, the name of the petitioner has come in this case on mere suspicion. The petitioner is in custody since 11.12.2016 but he has not been put on T.I. Parade as yet.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura, in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.361 of 2016.
