JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. i. For issuances of Writ /Writs, Order/Orders, Direction/Directions in the nature Certiorari for quashing the impugned Letter no. 80, dated 21.4.2015, issued by the officer of District Magistrate, Collector, Social Security Cell Sheohar, whereby and whereunder the representation filed by the petitioner dated 3.2.2015, in

7096/2014.

ii. For issuance of further direction upon the respondents to immediately appoint the petitioner on a post of 4th grade employee, on a vacant post because the petitioner is possessing disability certificate, issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Sheohar.

iii. For further directing the respondents to immediately appoint the petitioner in view of the advertisement issued by the District Child Protection Unit, District Sheohar, (Jila Baal Sanrakshan Ikai) Sheohar for the post of peon cum night guard, in total 3 posts out of which 2 posts are of unreserved category and 1 post is for most backward class category."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid

Patna High Court CWJC No.5185 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 3/3 grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
