The petitioner seeks bail in Bishmbharpur P.S. Case No. 13/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The police apprehended the petitioner while he was carrying plastic bag on a motorcycle bearing registration no. BR28J/9130. From the aforesaid plastic bag 49.60 litres of country-made liquor was recovered. The petitioner is in jail since 08.02.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about two and half months for recovery of country-made liquor. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15403 of 2017 (2) dt.20-04-2017 of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Bishambharpur P.S. Case No. 13/2017.
