The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Digha P.S. Case No. 657 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 23.25 liters of illicit liquor from the petitioner and a co-accused person. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 01.01.2019.
