This is an application for bail in connection with Parbatta P.S.Case No. 239 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25 (1 b) a and 26 of the Arms Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of three country made pistol as well as cartridges, including a knife from his possession.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case as he has not fulfilled the demand of the police officer and he is in custody for about seven months.

Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and considering the aforesaid

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10744 of 2017 (3) dt.08-05-2017 2/2 facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected.

However, as the petitioner is in custody, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same within a period of six months. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) spal/- U
