The petitioner has been appointed on compassionate ground initially as a Block Teacher in 2007. After the judgment of the Apex Court, the case of the petitioner was considered and he was appointed on Class-III post.

The grievance of the petitioner is now confined to the effect that the services rendered as Block Teacher may be considered for the purpose of counting his length of service. Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the

Patna High Court CWJC No.3330 of 2020(2) dt.24-02-2020 2/2 case of the petitioner for counting his length of service from the date of initial appointment as Block Teacher, if there is no impediment for counting such benefit, as the petitioner has been granted compassionate appointment initially as Block Teacher, now as clerk (Class-III post).
