2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case No. 331 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 504 of IPC.

3. The specific allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted husband of the informant on his head with iron rod.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The occurrence had taken place in the sister's house of the petitioner and at that time, the petitioner was not present in her house.

5. The specific allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting on the head of husband of the informant who suffered injuries on his parietal bone. He was treated up to PMCH, Patna. The injury report shows that stitched wound on the left parietal region of the injured was found. In respect of opinion of nature of injury, it has been mentioned that it may be gathered from the treating hospital. The learned lower court in its order has opined that the injury was grievous in nature.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, it is rejected.
