This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 386 of the Indian Penal Code and 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.

According to first information report, allegation of demand of ransom is on mobile phone of co-accused, Rajendra Yadav.

Submission of the petitioner is that the petitioner was apprehended merely on suspicion whereas the said mobile is not of the petitioner. The petitioner has sated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 02.02.2017.

Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18258 of 2017 (2) dt.19-04-2017 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Kasma P.S. Case No. 5 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad, or successor Court.
