JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 14-05-2019 The Limited grievance of the petitioner is that his appeal dated 15.12.2014 is pending before Deputy Inspector General of Police, Sahabad Range, Dehri-on-Sone. The appeal has been preferred by the petitioner against the order of punishment dated 7.6.2013 issued by Superintendent of Police, Bhojpur.

Since final decision on the appeal has to be taken by DIG, respondent No. 2, keeping the writ petition pending, in view of grievance raised by the petitioner's Counsel, would serve no useful purpose.

The writ petition is disposed of and it is directed that

Patna High Court CWJC No.7446 of 2015(2) dt.14-05-2019 2/2 if no final decision has been taken by respondent No. 2 till date on the appeal filed by the petitioner, the same should be done without any undue delay and expeditiously. The decision should be taken preferably within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in accordance with law.
